Paula Ellis – Yoga Instructor
Paula has always been active and had a passion for health and fitness. While in nursing school in 2009, she found herself in a yoga class and immediately fell in love. The connection of mind, body, and breath really resonated with her and changed her awareness and way of being on and off the mat. She quickly realized that yoga is so much more than postures and through her practice combining meditation and asanas, self enquiry and discovery naturally followed and continues every time she steps on the mat.
Over the years, Paula has practiced a variety of yoga styles and was drawn to challenging classes and postures. With an inner desire to share the gift of yoga and all she has learned and continues to learn, she began her journey in teaching in 2019. Her enthusiasm for yoga continued to grow as she was able to connect, guide, and share with others.
Paula teaches classes that include a variety of postures and sequences incorporating core work, building strength, flexibility, and mind-body awareness. As a yoga instructor, her goal is to offer students a class to explore and grow in their practice, giving them the space and opportunity to challenge them, reach their edge, connect to their breath, connect to their body, connect to their mat, to let go, and be here now. See you all on the mat!”
