As a former track athlete, Evelin was often on the receiving end of the therapeutic benefits of massage. She was always amazed by the ability these therapists had to relax tension, improve functioning, and promote her well-being. She knew then that she wanted to become a massage therapist – she wanted to provide others with the same benefits she obtained. Evelin took a little detour from her path to massage therapy as a profession – she focused on starting a family, and spent the last decade or so raising her boys while working off-and-on in customer service. Now, a recent graduate of Ontario College of Health and Technology, she is delighted to have joined the team at DSANDA. Depending on each individual’s need, her treatments may include myofascial release, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization or cupping.
