Nicole Gleason, MScPT, Physiotherapist
Nicole comes to us with a great deal of experience in a wide variety of areas – sports injuries, orthopedics, gerontology and aquatic therapy. After working as a Certified Kinesiologist and Athletic Therapist for many years she continued her education and graduated with an MScPT from McMaster University in 2012.
Nicole is a life-long learner and she has taken an extensive number of post-graduate courses, including: manual therapy, aquatic therapy, taping, acupuncture, tissue mobilization, and mobilization with movement.
She is a certified in Sports Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning, Acupuncture and Mobility. She believes in empowering her patients to take an active role in preventing injuries. Her treatment philosophy is MOVEMENT MATTERS! She utilizes the Selective Functional Movement Screens (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to assist in determining the reason for your injury and to assist her in helping you perform better at work, at play and at life.
When not at work, Nicole is often volunteering at sporting events, cheering on her daughters at their rep volleyball games, or smashing a few balls on the tennis court.
