Amy Donais, Yoga instructor

Amy has been practicing yoga for 6 years, instructing for 4 years, having obtained her 200 hour YTT in 2013. She has also received a BA in Secondary Education Biology from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania in 2012. Amy believes that yoga is an excellent way to restore balance to the body by encouraging it to find more ease in motion and strength with your breath. She would describe her teaching style as light-hearted and fun, finding play and peace throughout her classes.

Yoga classes are taught as privates, semi-privates and group classes.

These 1 hour, pre-structured classes, are suitable for all levels of students, beginner to advanced. They are designed to be an over-all balanced class including rest, strength building postures and sequences, as well as stretching. Modifications and variations for postures are incorporated. They are taught hatha-style, (several breaths per pose).

  •  Class sizes are small. 5-8 people per class.
  • Classes run in (6) week sessions.

Private classes, offered in 6 week sessions.

These are 1 hour, one-on-one classes, completely personalized for the
student’s individual needs and goals.

Semi private classes, offered in 6 week sessions,

These are 1 hour, two students to one instructor classes, are also designed to meet the personalized needs of each student while offering more coaching and advice from our instructor.  If you are interested in semi-private classes, but are not certain of who you’d like to exercise with, please let us know. We will do our best to match you with someone at the same level and endurance as you.

Monthly Saturday Morning workshops

These classes are taught in a group setting and are themed around aparticular injury/topic, section/part of the body, or advancement of your yoga practice. They are intended to give students more in-depth information and practice on that particular subject, as well as take-home tips andexercises to continue on and off the mat.

For example, one Saturday’s focus could be knee pain.

In this Knee Injury workshop, you will be taught Yoga based exercises that will help you to regain strength and mobility within your knee. Whether you are dealing with a with major knee injury or minor strains, Amy will provide you with a more personal/focused approach to yoga.
